HAPPY BIRTHDAY JACKSON!

I can not believe Jackson is 5 years old today! Time sure does fly and before we all know it, he will be driving and dating and going off to college. I feel blessed to have him in our lives and honored that he calls me "Mommy" :)
Have a great day everyone!!!

Weekend

I will have pictures to post from this coming weekend at Cedar Point with the family. We are getting Brock on Friday and will be at Cedar Point Saturday and Sunday. I will post Monday night for everyone to see how big the boys are getting.
The following weekend will be an adult weekend for just Joe and I. Not sure where we are going to stay Saturday (the 28th) night but it will be nice just to get away and be adults. Also having a nice dinner with Michael and Anna Bruhl Sunday afternoon :) Can't wait!

Banana pudding video!

Jackson was telling Grandpa that he had all of the banana's in his dessert and that Grandpa didn't have any! It was the cutest thing...
Jackson's laugh always makes me melt! I could listen to this all day.
Wow, I love my little man!!!!!

Birthday!

I had a wonderful birthday...so far! My Mom and Dad took the family out to eat on Monday, we went to Garfield's and Brock ordered the biggest burger I've seen and ate the whole thing...must be he didn't eat all day to make room in his skinny body for such a large sandwich plus the cheesy waffle fries! Here's a picture of him and his first attempt at taking a bite :)

The boys also gave me cards last night, one from each of them. They were the cutest card and meant a lot to me. I cried 3 times with each card...one from Jackson, one from Brock and the last one from Joe. I truly have 3 great Poling boys/men in my life!

Joe also tells me that we are going shopping soon in Fremont, IN.... My favorite outlet is in Indiana!!!! (Right Angie?)

Sad day tomorrow :(

My brother-in-law and sister-in-law and niece and nephew are leaving tomorrow for Washington. Tennessee was far enough for us, but now Washington... We may have to make a trip this summer!

Love you all and please drive careful and give Aunt Pat and everyone hugs and kisses from the Polings :)

Busy life

My hope has been that could have an extra 3 or 4 hours to get on line and post pictures for everyone to look at and to help keep up with the Poling Family. Unfortunately, our everyday lives are not allowing such activities.
I am finally back to work mid June after being off over 6 months, I'm happy to be working, but the hours are horrible. I get in the office before 7am Monday through Thursday (only working 4 days) and haven't been leaving until between 6:30 and 7:00 at night. I told them yesterday that I need start leaving no later than 6pm so I can spend some much needed time with Joe and Jackson and work on "us". Joe, however, is also working major hours. Right now he is pulling 12 hour days, 7 days a week... so to say the least our lives are very busy and complicated right now. Joe's hours may slow down some next week, but it will still be the 7 day work week.
Jackson is spending some much needed time with all the Grandma's / Nana's / Nene's and Grandpa's / Papa's houses, but I can tell he is struggling like Joe and I with how busy we are. Trying to work on a routine in our house is definitely NOT working.
I'm hoping that one day I will wake up in the morning and not have so many worries and stresses to deal with. We'll see what happens in the next couple of weeks. I hope things take a turn for the better.
Love you all. Jennifer
